ARTIST STATEMENT:
“My goal is to bring you into my world with each work of art. I love to imagine characters living in a fantasy of bold colors and shapes, often taking on abstract or surreal forms. In my studio, I experiment with techniques, textures, and technology to create beauty in unique ways.”
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Cameron Schmidt is a painter and illustrator based out of Pittsburgh. He focuses on illustration and character design across a variety of mediums, including spray paint, acrylic, digital, sculpture, and mixed. Cam’s passion for visual art stems from a fascination with street art, graffiti, and travel. Now he applies his love of color, angular designs, and science to the paintings and illustrations he creates for private and commercial clients.
STUDIO 4
In July 2021, Cam and Noah K. opened up Studio 4. In order to take more control over his art curation and build a professional brand, they built out the space to be a fine art gallery space on the first floor, and a full-service creative art and design studio on the second.
