Statement from the artist:

“Last November I was the victim of a hit + run which tossed me from my bike and took six months to recover from. It was an unfortunate lesson in vulnerability after feeling ironclad on two wheels for the past decade. While laid up, I examined mental and emotional blind spots unique to myself and others. In an age of bad news, blinders feel necessary, though are better worn as armor and not callus.
